Secure sharing of these credentials by ensuring privacy and authenticity is a tedious and complex task prone to error because of the traditional client server model used. Our aim in this paper is to leverage Blockchain as a solution to build a prototype for making the sharing of students’ credentials authentic, secure, non-repudiable, tamper-proof and ensure privacy. The proposed architecture uses IPFS as an Off-Chain Storage, Proxy Re-Encryption with Blockchain architecture for increasing privacy and removing unwanted storage overheads and using Proof of Authority Consensus speeding up the block validation process. Smart Contracts are developed for Access Control and storing data into Blockchain. The viability and execution of the prototype is tested and analyzed on Ethereum based local Blockchain simulation platform.
